Welcome to one of our favourite places: Valldemossa.
We chose this location because, on our first trip to Mallorca, we completely fell in love with this village. Since then, we return every year, even if just for a few days, to enjoy its peace, calm, and breathtaking views.
The surrounding mountains and the nearby small beach hold some of our best memories. Valldemossa feels like a fairy tale, and we couldn’t be happier to share it with you and experience it together.
HOW TO GET THERE
HOTEL SA VALL
BY CAR
You can park directly at the hotel. From the main street (MA-1110), take the turn marked “Sa Vall Hotel Interior.” Follow the small road until you reach the parking lot. See address below.
Note: The entrance is off of MA-1110. Sometimes Googlemaps brings you through the town of Valldemossa. This is incorrect.
If you prefer to park in a public space in town and enjoy the streets of Valldemossa by foot, you can. See section “By Foot.”

BY BUS
From Valldemossa, there is public transportation to/from neighboring towns of Palma, Soller, Port de Soller, and Deja.
The bus starts from around 6:00am until around 9:20pm (both depending where you are coming from or going to). Could be a good option to get to Valldemossa; however, the trip back may not work depending how late you want to stay.

BY FOOT
If you are staying in the town of Valldemossa or parking in a public parking spot in the town, you can simply walk the beautiful streets. Its a maximum 10 minute walk.
Put the address of the venue below into Googlemaps and enjoy the route.
The route will take you past historical stone roads and small porceline pictures near doorways. The path does not allow cars, so the only way is by foot.

ACCOMODATION
We highly recommend to stay in Valldemossa, due to its beauty and because the majority of the guests will stay there. Here are our personal recommendations in Valldemossa after visiting multiple times and knowing local people.

Es Petit Hotel
Es Petit is a boutique hotel ideally situated in the heart of town. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner while visiting venues in Mallorca, he was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The hotel’s design is minimalist, accented with charming Mallorcan touches. A cozy bar downstairs serves a daily breakfast, which is included.
Highly recommend: 10/10 for a stay here.
Marton Hotel
This is the “sister” hotel of Es Petit, owned by the same person. We haven’t visited yet, as it is brand new and set to open this winter, but it already looks stunning, simple, elegant, and refined.
While the hotel does not have its own bar or dining area, the owner kindly noted that guests can walk over to Es Petit for breakfast.
Ca’s Papà
Another hotel we haven’t visited in person, but it looks stunning online and in their photos. The style is simple, with charming Mallorcan touches and classic, “old-fashioned” headboards. It appears truly lovely.
The price point is slightly more approachable than the previous two, yet it doesn’t compromise on quality or character.
Son Viscos Hotel
Son Viscos is the only true “finca” style hotel on our list. Its white interiors framed with wood give it a more modern feel than the typical finca.
During a previous trip, we stayed at a few fincas while searching for a venue and loved how personal and welcoming they feel. The innkeepers are always gracious, offering local recommendations and history of the property.
A note: the hotel is located outside the city center, so it’s a bit of a walk to the venue about 20 minutes according to Google Maps.
Mirabò Hotel
With its beautiful blend of rustic stone walls and a mix of antique and modern furnishings, Mirabo would be a true delight for a full weekend stay. Perched on a hill overlooking Valldemossa, you can enjoy views of the town in one direction and lose yourself in the stars in the other.
A note: like Son Viscos, it is located outside the city center, so it’s a longer walk to the venue, about 33 minutes according to Google Maps.
Valldemossa Hotel
Elegance, luxury, and style perfectly describe Valldemossa Hotel. We dined at their decadent restaurant in 2022 for Nat’s birthday and were thoroughly impressed. The rooms are just as stunning in person as they appear in the photos, and the hotel offers breathtaking views of the town.
Naturally, the price reflects its exceptional quality and beauty. Beautiful and expensive in equal measure, but if you feel like treating yourself, this is the place.
